Software Asset Manager

We are hiring ! One of our top clients in the banking industry is expanding and they are looking for a Software Asset Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship with the supplier of the SAM technical solution, both at the level technical, support of the existing platform, but also to manage its evolution

• Pilot and manage a managed SAM service
• Consolidate, based on engagement model with software vendor data, data related to the use of the software within the company

• Coordinate with the relevant IT managers for the points of regular situation concerning the use and the level of risk in relation to the compliance and costs
• Develop and manage the data collection model and processes related to the active software lifecycle management
• Share information with IT purchasing managers, managers
• IT suppliers and the management of the IS division to ensure the continuous consistency with IS project and program roadmaps
• During compliance audits initiated by software vendors, provide support necessary for the various IT managers (purchasing, domain manager, management)
• Contribute to IS strategic planning activities, by sharing data specific related to the consumption of software licenses according to the commitment model(e.g. SaaS, perpetual licenses)
• Provide the necessary expertise to application managers to facilitate the management of complex licensing cases related to major publisher

Requirements:

• Masters-type higher education in Management
• Successful experience of more than 5 years in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of the computer field and in particular of models of commitment and economics offered by software providers
• Very good analytical skills (data analysis, visualization) and proposing solutions to complex problems
• Proven experience in software contract management
• Good knowledge of risk management and crisis management processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Good oral and written communication skills
