We have an opportunity as a PMO Manager!

The PMO will join a global team and will be based at MNK Group’s Bucharest office and will report to Programme Manager (PM). The Programme is composed of over 100 team members (i.e PM, BA, Devs, QA..) working a dozen of projects developed inside MNK Group’s internal CTRM system.

The succesful candidate will be assisting the PM tracking and overseeing these projects developed in the CTRM.

He/She will be engaged in tracking progress across projects, produce reports for Management Meetings, execute right executions after the Programme Manager(s) published guidelines (Quality Reviews), financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control etc..

Additional responsibilities will include defining and updating the project management processes and governance, contributing and coordinating activities in support of quality objectives.

At last, the PMO is expected to keep project plans up-to-date  and provide regular project status updates.

Liaises internally and build close, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders

 

Key Tasks:

PMO:

  • Governance
  • Control the governance standards across the Programme’s projects by tracking and monitoring periodically the team’s performance and day-to-day
  • Ensure the standards are well communicated across all entities of the group
  • Identify weak areas / opportunities for improvements
  • Organize workshops to identify areas of improvement for the Programme
  • Publish official guidelines to the Team

 

  • Planning, Reporting & Control
  • Monitor KPI and Dashboards in order to improve the SDLC
  • Prepare consolidated project reports to be reviewed by PM or Head of stream on demand
  • Track change request end-to-end and control if anticipated business benefit meet the expectation once in Production.
  • Communicate on the impact of change of scope / Change request.
  • Assist in the prioritization of the deliverables and their right execution
  • Control all activities surrounding the release (i.e Scope & Code freeze realization, Collect UAT sign-offs, maintain Confluence pages/various tracker on the state of the release.)

 

 

  • Project management / Planning
  • Assist the PM in the creation of Presentation to management / C-levels / Steering committee
  • Assist the PM in the creation new project / presentation (i.e scope, , deliverables, costs, timeline, dependencies, resource requirements and milestones)
  • Create and maintain project plans
  • Ensure the project plan is communicated to all project stakeholders
  • Consolidate the project plans in order to give a realistic view of the Programme’s key milestone.
  • Monitor key deliverables and ensure their related activities are on track, liaise with all stakeholders associated with them (i.e IT, Sponsors..)
  • Assist the PM in managing the various risk inherent to each project. (dependencies, people’s availability.)

 

  • Standards, Policies and Processes.
  • Will have good understanding and follow the ITIL based, service management processes;
  • Should understand and adhere to standards, SLAs and policies, which must be followed and guide users accordingly.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Formal education, ideally at University level or equivalent level of certification and experience.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of previous relevant professional experience (as a PMO or Junior Project manager).
  • Strong PMO skills
  • Proven track record of successfully delivered project along side a Project or a Programme Manager
  • Team player with ability to exercise flexibility, demonstrate initiative and attentive to details
  • Good interpersonal skills, especially communication
  • Highly organized.
  • Be self-motivated and creative and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other related data analysis tools.
  • General skills on ICT technologies.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledgeable about Confluence products (i.e confluence JIRA) a strong plus.
  • Candidates with some experience in supporting a project related to the development of a CTRM/ETRM or a Financial software a strong plus
  • Other languages in addition to English will be useful but not mandatory, e.g. French
  • Certifications on any of the following will be very useful: Microsoft Suites, Project management
  • Technical knowledge a plus (i.e SQL, Report creation)

Employment Contract:

  • This is for a regular/permanent full-time position, based in Bucharest, which is subject to a three month probation period.
  • Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
